Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a Graphic Designer and also dabble in Creative Writing.
I created sarahgertzen.com as a way to show who I am and to also show off some of my graphic design work as well as some written work. sarahgertzen.com is my very first website I’ve built from scratch and considering coding is not my strong-point, I did have help from a friend to make it more fluid. I created this website in early 2011 and when I have time to set-aside I add to my portfolio.

I currently reside in Alberta, Canada, but I have a soft-spot for the beautiful British Columbia as that is where I grew up. After completely a Graphic and Digital Media Design Program in Kelowna, BC, I was accepted into an internship program for the summer of 2012 in none other than New York City. It not only opened my eyes to the beautiful culture of that city but it re-started my passion in Graphic Design. The people I worked with and worked under were so inspirational, encouraging and so full of life – it was refreshing for me.
